Romelu Lukaku

Is that including his time with WBA?
Not that prolific with his head, but he scores for fun 75 million was a poor return of a sale he will score loads and improve in that team!
We placed 100 million on him like Swansea we had time to hold out - Chelsea were interested too!

Much rather we got the money early in and got our targets early in. In the end we don't know the exact fee only our manager said it was £95m last week.

...glad for him. I just think he's ideal for United. He doesn't have to be the all around CF, they have enough quality around him but lack a finisher.

Yep, the teams he excelled against last year were the lower teams that parked the bus so to speak, exactly the same teams that Man U struggled for points against last year.

On a side note, watching united here.. we are really far away from.being anywhere near that good.

Creating chances left right and centre and have more players attacking the box than I've ever seen Everton put in whilst in open play.. ever..
That is the thing about United. They don't really have great buildup play. What they do have, in spades, is the ability to create space and play that super sexy pass we dreamed Ross Barkley could play on a consistent basis. This is why Rom's footballing ability is null. United have about three or four players that can do it all themselves. They don't need him to help keep possession. They have so much individual talent that possession is irrelevant. They just need someone to finish those sexy passes.

But he's not a nice man Woolly!!!

Haha, indeed, and he kissed a badge too !

He's ruthless, egocentric, ambitious and talks a load of twaddle ( the actual word gets nabbed by the swear filter ), but we knew all that very soon after he joined us on loan, so it's hard to understand why people genuinely get upset about him now.

Apart from wanting us to get any add-ons, I'm ambivalent about him now.

Giving it the old badge kiss in his first game like the Chelsea supporting snake he is. The embodiment of all that's wrong in football (except for Paul Pogba)

No point Kev, he basically talked about leaving the minute he got here so I'm actually quite relieved I don't have to listen to his pissy pants moaning every other week. We got decent money for him, but what we need to do now is invest in a good striker who will fit the system Koeman wants to play.

I'd love to think we have a couple of options lined up but I'm not too sure who or when we may sign this player
A big club would have let him run down his contract . His goals would mean so much this season

Joey, he's scored nearly a quarter of his goals with his head. Admit you're wrong.

You really seem to be jumping on everything I say recently Bryan. Some less generous folk than myself might suggest that you were trying to goad me. Thankfully I'm a generous man

Anyway, of course all teams would like a striker who scores loads of goals, but specifically United were struggling to beat the weaker sides at home last season. By bringing in Rom, whose all but guaranteed to net them 20+ goals, they've taken care of a specific issue that was specific to them last season, hence why I was referencing them specifically in the previous comment that you've decided to twist your underpants over for some strange reason
Auto correct put amulet in there.

The man wanted to go end of story. The fees involved should concern nobody but those who run the club, but anybody who believes another club would have allowed him to run his contract down needs to re-join the real world.

And can the bedwetters stop crying about the fee.

Way wah wah we should've had 200 billion! Should've waited for the Neymar transfer which obviously knew was going to happen...75 million I'm going to keep saying 75m even though I know it's more wah wah wah.
