PSG would be most likely destination IMO. Neymar might be leaving and Cavani gets injured. No pressure in the french league, and he can ride the pine in the CL knockouts. He can score for fun against Nantes.

Fred was 50M. Which is the norm for players considered somewhat decent today.

And when its plainly apparent that Fred is garbage, Utd won't unload him for less than 30-35M becuase someone will probably end up paying it.

How highly an individual rates lukaku depends on how one dimensional that person sees the role of a striker....

So let's say they only care about goals and the fact that he loses possession a lot - putting his team under pressure means nothing.... the argument is still there that he doesn't score against top half sides. Having a striker unable to play against better teams means you will never win anything - fact.

Most top sides punish teams on the counter when a forward loses the ball with players committed forward - Southampton the other night vs Liverpool. Lukaku is a liability.

The only thing lukaku is good for is the ego of little 10 year old kids who need a goalscorer who scores 15+ goals so they can have a hero. It doesn't matter to them that they are all against Fulham and Brightons of the league.

I'd sooner have DCL any day of the week.

Don't laugh too much mate.... I predicted that Rashford would be first choice striker ahead of lukaku in no time and that got laughs...

On the plus side DCL is our player and I'm predicting a great career for him. He may not score the goals that Rom does (stood in the 6 yard box waiting for rebounds).... but he will ensure we as a team score more, concede less and keep possession...

You'e talking absolute bubble if you would take DCL over Lukaku, Yes Lukaku has glaring flaws but he bangs them in quite easily against top teams or not.
6 yard box rebounds are what strikers are for lad, Goal is a goal and I rate DCL pretty high.
