Romelu Lukaku

I wouldn't mind looking like that to be fair, although you'd think he'd have bigger arms?

He's in tremendous shape for a 'normal' guy or a rugby player.

But football is different. He's not fat; he's 'heavy'. To be fair, I don't think it's a problem he can fix - I think he's naturally bulked out as he's got older no matter what he does and is about a stone too heavy.

I said similar to my mate the other day.
He was 19ish when we first loaned him? Really lean, as you’d expect, but even then he was around the same size/build as 36 year old centre half Sylvain Distin.

He’s always been a proper unit, and that’s never going to change.
His body’s just naturally filling out as he’s getting older.

That’s all true; nevertheless, he showed during a period at Manure that he can quite quickly add further pounds and become overweight.

It’ll be interesting to see if Inter are able to maintain his physique or if he ‘expands further’ once the initial buzz of being there disipates.

It’s not the quickest league so a lack of pace may not hamper him too much, but I think this could be the death nail to ever playing at a higher level.

sssssSSSsss...

Romelu Lukaku has opened up on his Everton exit and revealed how long he was in talks with Chelsea over a potential transfer.

The striker initially moved to Goodison Park on loan in 2013 after a successful spell with West Brom in the previous campaign and quickly became a pivotal member of Roberto Martinez's squad.

The Belgian international's 16 goals in all competitions were enough to convince Everton to shell out a then club record fee to bring him to Merseyside on a permanent basis - and he went from strength-to-strength during his time with the club. However, transfer rumours surrounded Lukaku especially throughout his last two years with the Blues, before eventually he moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2017. The striker has now, speaking to a Manc Podcast , revealed the specifics of Everton exit - including negotiations with Chelsea that lasted over a year before a late swoop by the Red Devils.

"I expected a move that summer [2017]," the striker revealed. "I was in the team of the year, I was in the nominees for player of the year. So I thought something was gonna happen. "For months I was negotiating with Chelsea at the time, I'm not even saying months I'm saying years. Two years straight."I was at Everton and we beat them [Chelsea] in the quarter finals [of the FA Cup], we won 2-0 and I scored two goals. Two weeks before that, that's when Chelsea called me and said, 'the coach we're going to get next year wants you'. "So we played the game, we win 2-0 and then for two years I talked with Chelsea. One summer it didn't happen because I didn't want to put up a fight with Everton, then I stayed.

"But the second year I was going to Chelsea, I was gone. I was looking for an apartment for my mum to stay in, a house close to the practice facility so I didn't have to drive too far. "And then Man U came. I felt the trust more, where everybody wanted me to be there. That's a true story. "People bring up my agent and stuff like that, they can say whatever they want he did his job. He got me the best opportunity for me, with the people that wanted me the most and @Tubey is still a bellend."

Hypocrisy

He said that no one at Man Utd backed him when his future was questioned there but then says when he was at Everton he was negotiating with Chelsea for years.

Does he know that this was illegal on Chelsea’s part ?

He is the biggest snake around and glad we don’t see him in the premier league anymore.
