TBF his agent, mother, father and voodoo doll did not want him playing for "lowly" Everton. His own ambition was to be the next Didier Drogba.
I miss his goals, but not his rubber shins or his lack of loyalty (although the latter is a rare, rare gem during these mercenary times).

In hindsight he was just being honest. Think the days have gone where we could expect someone to sincerely say they'd die for the club. I liked ROM apart from his awful performance in the semi final

I have no problem with players having aspirations higher than Everton, I’m not deluded in that sense. He just should have been respectful and not said anything. Thousands of other players are in the papers and keep quiet but he did it every single time he went away.

Yeah I know what you mean. But he scored a lot of goals so I guess I wasnt bothered.
 
The media jizzing over how well he’s been doing but Immobile is making him (and almost every other striker in world football) look like Jozy Altidore and getting zero recognition.

Copying our chairman with the voodoo stuff hey? We took the money and had no loyalty to him. He played well and put the effort in - what more do you want from him?

I do not want anything from him. We had him in his goal scoring prime and made a bit of a profit on him. I was just lamenting on the fact that, like a lot of young players like him, he let his agent speak through him, and thus, at times, especially when away in Belgium, he would come across as a disloyal employee. Should have kept such feelings/comments to himself. Not something a team player should do. As for the voodoo, it's a stupid joke, but is, unfortunately, part of his press narrative now.
