Rom was pretty poor for the most part today, but still chipped in with a goal.

One thing which was noticeable was the level of workrate he put in off the ball, which was pretty impressive. Chances are he has more energy left in the tank to track back and harry because he's not chasing as many shadows as he was for us, but I suspect he has far more respect for Jose ( understandably ) than he ever did for Koeman or Martinez so knows he needs to be seen to be doing his fair share of pressing the opposition.

plus he probably feels that workrate will be rewarded with goals or goal scoring chances. as opposed to trying to take down a hoofball from Jags with 3 defenders around him while he's isolated up top on his own

We got two more points from the same games last season and scored two more goals, one of them coming from lukaku.
