To be fair, very smart game plan from Mourinho. Without Fellaini and Pogba, they had no reliable outball so they played for a point against a side that would punish them if they didn't hold play up in attack.

I haven’t sat in their since it was the panini stand. In fact we played Oldham in a league cup game I believe, and it was lashing down.

Anyway; love, abuse or a fat pay cheque he wanted out of this club. The small time attitude of our fans goes hand in hand with the boo boys; they can hound the players out while the rest cry over them

Think he touched the ball all of twice second half. Quality slotter but he still ain't a world class forward imo, his all round game is too lacking. Too many games he's not on it and can be so anonymous, especially the big games.

Still wish he was with us as I think he could have grown as the club grew but he wanted out. Not arsed what he does at united, hell score a shedload but can see him having a lot more games like today where he just doesn't work hard enough for the team so things don't happen for him. They'll end up buying someone better like Kane within the next few years and lukaku will move on to his next favourite childhood team. All the while pieface mino will be lining his pockets.

This is the best assessment.

And that's it in a nutshell, and all I've ever said on the matter.

It's also why United won't get near the title with him starting every game, and why I said Ibrahimovic is the far better fit for games like today.

Lukaku is a fair weather player who will score goals for fun in certain scenarios, but offer you next to nothing in general play and be easily nullified against quality opposition. So he turns from an asset to a liability week to week - you don't win titles by having effectively 10 men on the pitch in certain games.

It's also why I'm legitimately happy he's gone, because although we're crap right now, we need to build a team that can play quality football consistently with a varied approach. Lukaku is the opposite of that.
