In his best season he scored 18 in 33 games, so around 1 in 2. He definitely has the ability to play there, could have got a few yesterday.

The use of Stones, Romelu, Ross and Gerard flourishing under Koeman excites me.

I mean that, particularly the final three. Love Stones like but he can GTF if he wants, but the other three are who we should be building the team around.

I saw Geri and Jese play together up front for one of Spain's youth sides, I forget which age category it was, but think it may have been the summer before Geri signed for us the first time

Anyway, those two absolutely tore it up together. In the right system, I think Geri could play there but you'd then miss his delivery, obviously.

Be interesting this season - Koeman wants his side to press (yay) and there is no better presser of the ball in our squad than Lennon (maybe McCarthy would run him close), so I hope there is a role for Geri somewhere in the side. One of the few players we have with truly world class potential.
