Ronald Koeman discussion

The metric that counts is league placing and cup wins. I don't see Koeman advancing our best finishes under our two previous managers, that's for sure, and that is directly based on the subjective matter of his way of playing the game. It's safe and its dour...and safe and dour win nothing.
Right. Because Martinez put us on the trajectory to Successville all right.

Give the guy a chance. It's more fun to wish Everton well than hope to be right all the time.

Ha ha. Rotten squad. I remember in the good lad days 6 months ago when it was the best squad since the 80s being frittered away.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing my man.

Remember when we had the best squad since the 80's with Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill and so on. Then lost 1-0 to Blackburn on the opening day years back.

He actually did in that 2013/14 season. It was wasted by placing way too much faith in some of the deadwood that needed shifting out under Moyes never mind Martinez.

That season should have been our launch pad to a CL spot, it turned out to be failure to launch.

This is winning football against utter dross. Arsenal aside we've looked third rate against any decent team with this long ball tosh.
I have no qualms with this^

What I was trying to say is that if we win tonight and Monday then very few people will be complaining. But I will concede, it's much easier to dig him out playing this football when we don't win.

I'm neutral on him, nowhere near as behind him as I was, but if he improves us season on season, then who am I to complain?

Big issue with Ron here. Can complain about not having players yet he plays players who are bang out of form and dropped the guys who've done well. Barry all over the shop.

so koeman says even in training the players are not trying, make coleman the captain and stop jags rotting the club from match day to when the hard work is needed on the training ground too, the players don't trust jags, barkley and a few others
