This might not be the best thread and im really not having a pop at anyone, but, is the word David typed there considered off limits? It isnt typed wrong or anything and its not picked up by the swear filter. Not having a pop, just a general rule enquiry.
Why would 'David' be considered off limits ?
Not sure I understand the question.

..I think the points we have is pretty much par for the course with this team. Of course we need to progress but we need change to make that happen, we're now starting the journey to discover if RK takes us to the next level. Our discussion counts for nothing, words count for nothing, only time will tell so hang on in there and we'll see.

Not the next level yet. He needs to rebuild this aging and midtable squad...we are getting back to the best of the rest with Europa League spot then in the summer we sign better players. We'll see how it goes next season hopefully consolidating our status in the league say top 5/6. Afterthat, we shall be looking to break into top 4 in the third season.

Im not being arsey, just my rule of thumb is always if its not picked up by the swear filter, its an allowed word, but clearly the swear filter cant catch them all, just that recently im become fond of the word shitters.

Whilst the word Dave used doesn't currently fall foul of the swear filter, can I suggest that the word you have taken a liking to at least only be used infrequently.
We don't really wish to sink to levels we'd rather not do we ?

Moyes didn't have a particularly good record with strikers. Martinez wanted to Base a team on Barkley and Lukaku- he completely neglected the rest of the squad- from a style point of view. I paid to watch that tripe the last two years. This year hasn't been a great one but I've almost seen more home wins than he managed the whole of last season. Win first- style second.
He's not a top manager but neither is Martinez. Moyes has still finished in champions league. Something neither his successors have managed. Maybe he caught lightning that season, but if he did, Martinez certainly did in his first season. Pains to say, but Moyes has been a better prem manager than Martinez and potentially Koeman. Thems the ultimate facts unfortunately.
He was a steady Eddie. Moyes has proven conclusive,y since he left how limited he is as a coach.

I'm amazed that the reason for the sub was not blindingly obvious to be honest.

It was to change formation and get the full backs pushed right up. A sub of attacker for defender is not always negative and it certainly wasn't to hold on for a point as some are suggesting.

We did feck all with the change because we played crap, but it was still a change to get us more support in attack from the wings.
Thing is when we were 2-1 down he wanted to bring Lennon on. Presumably because he understood we were in the ascendancy and he wanted to get a goal.

Well we got the goal without the change. Then he brings on RFM.

If it was tactics to win the game, what was his initial thoughts about bringing Lennon on when we were still losing?

He played for the draw the massive outhouse.

Another way of saying that mate is that thus far Koeman has improved nothing.

I agree. In fact I'd go further and say he's regressed the way we play - reducing it to a long ball game when we fought for years to get away from that savagery.

Tough to ask our players to show passion and commitment when this fella just sits on his seat with his arms folded for 90 mins. Not asking him to run up and down like those clowns Klopp and Conte, but at least prowl your technical area and bark some instructions.

..we'll never know but my opinion is that we were in free fall last season. Had Martinez stayed I feared for us, I doubt we'd have the points we have now. I'd give Koeman credit for the points we have, I think that return is good with with the players we have.
