That sort of win yesterday is precisely what was missing the last two seasons. Not playing that well, key personnel missing, we grind out a very good win based on the fact that we've not conceded. After half a season of playing poorly we're in 7th. When you're building from a decent defence you just get so many more points.
Exactly, easing him in with minutes off the bench probably suits him more at this current stage

Well that's it, I have no personal affinity towards Koeman at all but if he's getting Everton to win football matches then that's all well and good for me. The Martinez crew seem to have developed this really strange personal bond with him, so much that it's got to the point where they now support Martinez over Everton. Makes no sense in my head like.

Some of us don't have an agenda and give due to managers when they deserve it for giving youth a chance, because we realise that is conducive to young players getting a chance in the future, hence why when you don't do that you actually aren't backing the youth

I think I've figured it out. He only wants youth in when they aren't replacing another young player. DCL is a no, because he's a replacement for Lukaku, who isn't old enough for Zat to consider useless yet, even though Lukaku is useless. Holgate and Davies are yeses, because they replace Coleman and Barry respectively who, in Zat's mind, are proportionally useless in relation to how many rings they have in the trunk.
