Ronald Koeman discussion

Why are you still banging on about what he did at Valencia mate? nobody cares. Stop labouring the point to the point of absolute tedium.

Apart from the fact that not many managers have a flawless record, also the point that they learn from their mistakes, its pointless going over and over it as nobody here even cares except you.

Plus it was years ago when he was learning the game. Koeman seems the type to learn from his experience.

Except he played along side Gueye yesterday meaning makes no difference if Gueye was here or not on Davies first team chances.

Still not making any clear sense here

NEXT GAMES...

You know, like Holgate being dropped onto the bench after playing well...same fate for Davies if Gueye wasnt off to ACON.

Great to see the boy start...same as Holgate but would he get a run after playing so well? History says no.

Is it too early to get on the ale?

I start each morning with a 3 litre bottle of diamond white, it's the only way the forum makes sense to me.

Im getting a bit concerned about @Ashtonian and @Mikey_Fitzgerald 's grasp of the English language tbh...theyre trying to argue points which I've never made.

It's all a bit weird.

If its taken you this long to realise Ash is not quite all there then I think in a roundabout way it makes you more mental than him.

Exciting! Should I take him off ignore?

Honestly don't do it to yourself

Can you add the quote where i slated the manager for playing Davies?

You know, the posts which support your posts?

So will you offer praise to Koeman for playing Davies then?

there is you trying to divert any topic of disagreement to anything you ever say again.

either Koeman is being a good manager for playing one of the worlds best youth team members (apparently in your eyes) which should warrant praise, or Davies shouldn't be in the team. the fact you are randomly talking about Valencia without any real context here after him doing something you should praise him for makes your arguments very bias and hypocritical.

so will you praise Koeman for being a good manager and playing Davies? Or are you dismissing the fact he did play him as you can't stand to praise your teams manager?

Can you show me a post of mine where i havent backed Tom Davies please?

*Clue: There isnt one.

Dunno what youre on about tbh.

Davies should have been playing ahead of Barry for ages now.

Holgate was dropped for no reason twice.

DCL is a weird one...come on as a sub and doesnt do much yet is ahead or Deulofeu, Lennon, Mirallas and Valencia it seems...

Davies should now keep his place...he has a chance as Gueye is off. History with holgate shows us he would be dropped if Gueye was available.

At this point in time, there's nothing wrong with Davies coming on as a sub at say the 60 minute mark for Barry

Seeing as we're short of options at the moment with Gana away, then I'd be fine with Davies starting, but that's not essential for him, nor is it for DCL or Holgate

What's essential is that they get minutes and are part of the senior set up. If those minutes come off the bench, then great

Koeman is giving these kids minutes and has done all season

Yeah, he stuck with Clev a bit longer than he should have done, but nobodies perfect and nobody is claiming Koeman is

Koeman deserves credit at this current juncture for the chances he's given to the younger players. If he starts going in the other direction, believe me you'll hear about it from myself, but as of right now that hasn't happened

Be happy the kids are getting the minutes they're getting, as it's more than they'd get at other top clubs, and also be happy that he persists with a DCL even when DCL doesn't always deliver. Moyes would have dropped DCL and labelled him with dreaded "attitude problems" by this stage, but Koeman is still giving him chances

The fact is it's easier for a DCL to dislodge Valencia or a Davies to dislodge a Barry/Clev than it is for a Holgate to dislodge a Coleman or Funes Mori

By laying into Koeman for doing WHAT WE'VE ASKED HIM TO DO you in turn aren't backing the youth

Diamond White still exists? Wow.

Schneiderlin or Brunt? Whose 1st in?

Yes learning! is that too difficult for you to comprehend? The game changes, managers have to change too.

Bang on all about what he was doing in season 2007-08 all you like, nobody cares except the broken record that is you.

Why keep posting about the topic teasing me to reply about it...

Good God Man.
