Ronald Koeman discussion

Didnt see him today on touchline. Was he proactive? Didnt he say he couldnt understand why we sat too deep? If so was he making his point known about this during the match? For some reason i can see klopp screaming at his players to push out if in a similiar position. They would respond. It is a major fault i see in koeman. I would be of the belief he knows what is wrong. He explains to his players in training and pre match. Yet he just sits there when they are not carrying out tactics. It like well i told them not to sit back . I just wait till match finishes and moan about it.

Football is not about the best players. It's the best team. Del offers flair in attack but destroys the balance of the side through being unfit, ill-disicplined, and above all a weakling.

Anyways on topic: Cull this gash squad Ron.
hes culling it on the pitch atm - be honest have you seen a convincing 90 minute performance this season as yet - that's what worries me about RK!

Present day players are a lot more sensitive to criticism. Everton's nurturing environment makes its players particularly so. RK upsetting them by calling them out publicly will only make matters worse imo.
He's walking on thin ice as the players look like they have downed tools again ( as with RM).
Suggest RK needs to mend fences with his squad tout suite.
It may be lacking in one or two positions but most of us agree that it's the best squad in a generation. We need the manager to get them playing to their potential...not placing pressure on them to perform and subsequently 'losing them'.

Does we include Deulofeu?
The defence - Coleman played on the wing first half Holgate was having a very good game instead of resting coleman foir geri he took Holgate off Coleman was responsible for their equaliser in his opinion, so the wron substitution in his eyes and the static barry stayed on when he only has 45 minutes in him if that !

Ill give him time... after watching today look at that team. I'd never want to see Funes Mori, Robles, Valencia,Barry and you could argue Mirallas and Gerry(bottled half a dozen tackles) again. They're are simply not good enough to go where we are hopefully heading. On the bench you have even more crap.... Oviedo, Cleverley, Kone kin ell. No wonder he is frustrated. On an asides Garlic mayo or spicy ketchup , mexicana spicy cheese or jarlsberg on a Linda Mc cartney 1/4 pounder..Up the toffees :)

The bold bit is ridiculous. We weren't beaten by league two standard teams at all. Every team in the premiership has earned its place in this league and are therefore Premier League standard. I see this type of snobbery far to much these days. 'Oh it's only Watford, we should hammer them', we have absolutely no devine right to hammer anyone
We did.
Who said anything about hammering anyone.
None of the teams are established prem league teams.

We bottled out of at least 10 50-50 challenges today I think that says it all about this group of players.
I will give Koeman time but it is definitely not clear what his plan is, how he wants to play etc
Let's hope we see more with the new players we are promised

In terms of context how about this...

If Koeman walked tomorrow would any one seriously come in and keep most of this squad ?

I reckon four or five max .

It's a massive rebuilding job.
In terms of our players there is probably only Rom and Ross that would threaten to get into the top six teams first elevens.
