I think he took the fa cup seriously. Put out a strong side, teams just still full of bottlers

He deserves the same chance Moyes and Martinez got but he must be judged by the same yardstick too. Accepting 7th and throwing away the cups wasn't good enough for the other two so it shouldn't be accepted so readily now.

Its easier to get different players in, cos if we replace the manager, he will still have the same rubbish players.

Yeah, pretty much. Apart from being 3 points better off than this time last season, he's pretty much failed in every other respect. I was actually okay with our erratic league season but the tame and swift cup exits have been a massive blow to my confidence in him.

He started with Valencia and Coleman on the wings whilst he's got Mirallas and Deulofeu on the bench. That's a joke in itself. Bringing on Kone was also ridiculous as was starting with Barry. His subs were poor, ultimately he takes the credit or blame for what the players do so if they come out not arsed which they have done in both cups then that is a reflection on him.
