Ronald Koeman discussion

I am far from happy with how things are but I'm prepared to give him time.

We are miles clear of relegation, miles off the top 4, and out of the cups and not in Europe so the season is for all practical purposes over in terms of competing for anything meaningful in early January.

This gives him the luxury of an 8 month pre season building up to August to work on what he wants them to do and he better get it right. If we are not going well come next October/November its time to jettison him.

Teflon Ron. Only the feeble minded will fail to see his paw prints are all over this season's failure though. He is going to become real unpopular real quick with his inability to hold his hand up and take responsibility for his own mess. He can't hide behind excuses forever. The net is tightening on Koeman. And if he keeps up the attacks on board appointees like Walsh and the players he will be walking the plank before this season is out. And he'll only have himself to blame for acting like a classless spanner.
My brother was at the game today the fans around him were blaming the manager the teflon bit was not evident in his eyes the crowd always tend to blame the guy who sends the team out Dave - my brothers thoughts since watching the blues since 1958 impotent going forewards till Del came on defence static -Barry is not a 45 minute player- best player in midfield was Tom Davis - Del threatened them when he came on they then switched off , and never had The confidence to get back in it -Lukaku looked disinterested!

Koeman was poor yesterday, both with team selection and the subs. I think it is clear that he has not managed his resources to the best of their ability and has not developed a style that suits the players at his disposal. This is especially true of Lukaku who, it is clear to me at least, needs help up-front and got that help with Valencia. Yet when we were in control he takes off Valencia and brings on Miralles and puts him on the wing!! The team loses its shape and they gain a foothold.

It was like RM against WHU at home two seasons ago when the team was winning, playing well and Martinez changed it for no good reason.

As for taking off Barkley and bringing on Kone? What the f...

Why change the team when we are on top? Not playing great but ok and keeping the opposition penned in and then the manager feels he has to do something.

I honestly think that Koeman was a big factor in yesterday's defeat.

Another season down the drain.

Pretty sure Koeman is doing what he said he was aiming to do here - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2016/11/16/koemans-wants-toffees-in-europe

Didn't see many complain at his objectives at the time this went out.
Fair enough but when he said it I think he/we meant earning it and controlling our faith by winning a cup or our position in the league. We weren't thinking 7th and 9 points off the next place. Look, I want him to turn it around, but let's not pretend we're happy with what we've got so far. Then we are true losers.

They're a disgrace. And the feller in the dugout complaining that they sat off Leicester is too.

I sense things are going to blow quite soon over Koeman, regardless of how long he's been here. The feller needs to reflect on his performance as a coach and a leader. He's shown nothing in either respect so far and Evertonians won't put up with a cry arse for too long.
