I'm hoping we can get our identity back that we had under Martinez for good football and winning football, which we saw in his first season here for the first time since the 80s. Koemans task is to get that reputation back AND secure the defence.

Is he up to it? We'll see.

Good win today but he's still been a turgid manager for this season as a whole.
Sorry mate but Martinez threw Out of the window an identity and a sense of close unit because he wanted to change everything at once.

It is incredibly hard to fancy and spectacular and still be competitive at the same time with our level of resources.

It takes time and very hard work to produce more with less.

take a day off son.

Why we talking about Martinez.......again!!!!!!

We aren't!

Like I said use the block function, eventually the wind up merchant will get bored if he realises he is talking to himself.

Citehs biggest defeat since 2008.

Peps biggest defeat ever apparently.

Two teenagers scoring.

Holgate having a solid performance at the back.

You'd have to be either a RS in disguise or a complete idiot to not be able to enjoy this victory today.

We are not where we want to be just yet, but we have more positives about the club than we have had in a long time!

Peps biggest ever league defeat as a manager, but let's find fault with Everton instead

In fairness whats he supposed to do? Change his valid opinion because of one game?

If he disappears and says nothing people have a go. If he comes in and says he is delighted but makes some fair points with context of the overall season he gets dismissive replies.

We had some amazing days under Bobby too but he ultimately wasnt up to it. Great day today for Koeman but as I'd say after the many bad days this season he has a good way to go before we see whether he is up to it. Cracking win today, but it doesn't wipe out the poor first half of the season.

Anyways......hopefully this bcomes the norm rather than the exception now as theres nothing like Goodison roaring on a tough to beat competitive team with some youngsters mixed in to add to the feelgood factor.

coyb!
