Ronald Koeman discussion

"maccavennie is a top top man. I'm surprised his wife doesn't want to make love to him at least six times a day. I'm sure there's plenty of women who would resolve this situation in the future" - Koeman

Ah very clever, you see if you had put Koeman said instead of just Koeman at the end, he could have sued you for libel.

Hence why Journos try and avoid making up quotes.

Just read the Dominic King article in the Daily Mail.

He has inherited an absolute shambles of a football club.

70% fit going into the opener? I'm seriously putting money on spurs to whoop us on Saturday.

Koeman didn't relized what a mess we were when he joined. His face was telling a story at preseason when. He was watching the players.

Looked rather down and despondent at his press conference to me, like a man who all of a sudden realises that he may not have made the right decision in coming here.

He's got a job on his hands that he is being paid very well to do. I'm sure he knew what he was stepping into, everyone could see what was happening at Everton under Martinez. I'm glad he's speaking honestly, this is the hard line reforming we need rather than telling the players they are phenomenal when they're not even fit. Imagine what some of these players can do when fully fit and in form for a tactically astute manager?

Apparently Ronny Kelly (new nickname) has got this on repeat in the Finch Farm office, clutching a picture of Pelle to his chest and weeping uncontrollably

And signings are miiiiiiiiiiiised, in the blink of an eyeeeeee ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh why oh why oh why

Hear Hear! The club has been a shambles for the last two years at least.

Perhaps the path back to the top is going to take longer than anticipated, not because of the efforts of the current management but the position they inherited.
can you elaborate on that a bit? are you just implying the playing squad, fitness, training methods, etc which seem to be fairly well documented, or do you mean the structure of the rest of the club?

if you mean the rest of the club (barring the management position) what has happened in the last 2 years that didn't happen previously that became a shambles? the majority of the board have been around longer than that? the bad commercial deals have been in place for years.

has something specifically bad gone on? Is it more of a "meh, this is rubbish, I wont try" attitude from none playing staff or something contributing the lack of professionalism?
