I've mentioned them because you have (and Spurs) I think I've made relevant points in reply to yours, I think the statement you made about every Everton manager being criticised if they don't win a trophy is wrong, totally wrong. But you're choosing to ignore my points.

I'm choosing to ignore them because I can't be bothered having a discussion about a difference between two subjective opinions in the Koeman thread so made a light hearted joke instead.

No discussion to be had IMO. Everton managers do NOT get criticised for not winning a trophy. It's that simple. Trophies have been devalued now anyway, it's all about top 4 now. So if we can make a go at that,that will bring positive media coverage to this Club.We seem to be going in the right direction. Liverpool are getting positive media as no one expected them to be where they are and their Manager is eccentric so is always worth a laugh or sounbite. Spurs last season and they seem to be going from strength to strength this season. At the end of the day, if you win matches and get in amongst the top 4 or 5 then that breeds positivity in the media and the whole Club. Who'd have thunk that? It's not about 'but, they don't get stick for finishing 7th' 'why are they getting positive coverage when they haven't won anything' etc etc. It's about winning games.
