Up the blues!
Is right Ronald!
This is it in a nutshell, we need to be able to get some wins away from home against the teams above us. So far it's not been great. In that regard a centre half partnership of Jagielka & Williams gives me sleepless nights as does any partnership with Mori. The suspicion still from me is that he can knock over trash but is way too cautious against decent opposition (City at home aside).
If we get back to back wins versus Liverpool and United that would start to convince me otherwise...which I'm sure he;s arsed about like.
All away Boro, City and Southampton.Sadly they've played 26 and we've played 29, would need to win against them to keep it

But if we're to bridge the gap between those teams that get between 70 and 80 points we will have to go for it a lot more. Most teams are, even when they play each other. The reason being they have the players who can unlock doors and bang goals. Your tactics have to change because there's more risk
Until he meets Spurs then crawls back behind the couch. It's been scary good, to a point were I expect us to roll over most teams by 3 at least
Why is that not a realistic target?so back to back wins, away from home against two teams we beat on rare occasions either home or away (including at Anfield where we haven't won in close to 20 years)... That would START to convince you huh?
Careful Dave, your roots are showing.
He's not throwing three strikers on the pitch and abandoning any plan of defending, if that's what you mean Davros. But if we're to bridge the gap between those teams that get between 70 and 80 points we will have to go for it a lot more.
We'll end up off that this season because we haven't gone for it. We need to be bold. Is Koeman the manager in a pinch to do that? I have serious doubts.
