Ronald Koeman discussion

It was trash for the most part.

Convince yourself if you like, but dont try and tell me what I see. It was Hull we were playing not Chelsea. We were as bad as they were for most of that forgettable game.

Scoring three goals late on against a 10 man relegation outfit is hardly impressive.

6 consecutive wins, 22 goals scored, 5 clean sheets.

If you can't enjoy that, then find another stream on a matchday would be my advice.

That statement takes nothing away from the fact Martinez did make him (who was taking about Lukaku as a top player before he picked him up from Chelsea?) and he still is his mentor at Belgium (I think you'll find he is under his supervision there).

It's easier to combat someone else's point of view if you have facts rather than bile I always think.

Medication just worn off?

Back for more?

Quick, dose him up again somebody he's frothing at the mouth again.

Martinez made Lukaku lol tut, tut, tut!

Please refer to the Martinez world football thread thanks. This is the Ronkoe is boss thread.

hahahaha, you must have missed him stood up front cutting a frustrated figure as he made run after run off the shoulder of the CB's and wasn't picked out as we were too busy playing to me to you across the backline with pointless possession.
I could care less what gob he had on him - he scored record numbers of goals for us in the PL era and continues to do so. That's the measure.

He's scored more PL goals this season under Koeman than he did in any full season under the fraud, and he's got 9 games left to improve that tally. Therefore Koeman is getting more out of him, by playing to his strengths. That's the measure.

Love how Koeman has turned Barkley and Lukaku into top, top players now.

For the detractors who where whining about him not playing kids earlier in the season, how stupid do they look now? Davies now a regular, Calvert-Lewin, Holgate, Lookman all gaining valuable playing time this season.

If anything is to be learned from this thread, I think the words "a little patience" might be the key in a message somewhere.

Koeman has picked up an existing star player and gone even further down the road of over reliance on him because he's been useless in restructuring our attacking options by spending £27M for a chicken with no head and £10M on a kid who has now gone missing into the U23s.

It's a good job he has Lukaku here to inherit because he;d be screwed without him. No wonder he's begging Lukaku to stay right now.

The state of this, the vendetta against our manager is beyond belief

Koeman has simply done a better job of utilising the best player at his disposal by playing to his strengths, and has got more goals out of him as a direct result.

Your desperation to find fault in us scoring hatfuls of goals and brushing sides away with a nonchalant swipe is about as sad as it gets.

Lookman was on the bench again Saturday and hasn't made an appearance for the U23's according to the OS btw. Nice try though.
