Birds of a feather flock together
Didn't we also pay about 5 mill just to loan him for 1 season?
The loan fee was undisclosed.

No. The vaults dont go back to the threads in the summer of 2013 where that evidence is....but of course you know that.
Lol.
Indeed.FWIW, Lukaku was quite well known and touted as one for the future well before he played for us, or WBA, or before Chelsea for that matter.
And yet the single biggest achivement of his time at Everton is in a season where he has been managed by Koeman. If anything, Martinez not here has been beneficial for Lukaku and his development.I know he brought him here and we got record numbers of goals out of him.
That in and of itself was the biggest transfer success in the last 30 years at this club.
He'll leave having scored 70 goals and for a 250% profit on the £27M wisely invested in him.
Hats off to that.
Somehow I doubt we'll have that return off another player we paid £27M for.
The Bayeux Tapestry wouldn't be long enough to list the amount of errors you've managed you utter bozo
You even admit a mistake in the Snivelley thread this morning
Feel inchy again orly? I don't want the mods to tell us to pack it in. If you wanna to be a gramma teacher go in front of the mirror.
In the same vein Dave, how can you be sure that Henry is not having a significant input into the coaching of Lukaku and the other Belgian forwards? You dont know that. How can you say what Henry does at Belgian is any greater input than what he received here with Martinez and his coaches or Martinez and other coaches at Belgium. It's just pure speculation.
Theres loads of articles talking about how much of a talent he was at Anderlecht. but football didnt exist before Martinez did it...Indeed.
Checkout a thread I found on an Arsenal forum.
They were talking about him in 2010!

Out of all of the sentences in that post, thats an odd one to highlight as ammunition in the debate. So a self proclaimed Evertonian does not know how much Lukaku cost? It was £28m officially in 2014, a record fee.
This post literally makes no sense whatsoever. Errors galore.
It's also the Koeman thread, and he's doing a great job.

I don't think Martinez was the only one to 'spot' him, what he did do and what he did to Kenwright and probably many others, is talk totally convincing wham of epic proportions and BS him into signing on loan, the permanently, then to give it one more year.he was a massive talent that was well known to anyone that payed anything like the smallest amount of interest in European football...its the reason that Chelsea signed him and a host of other massive clubs around the world were interest in him, including Moyes at Everton. The argument that only Martinez was able to spot and devlop this diamond in the rough is just insane.

To suggest that everything positive about Lukaku is entirely down to Martinez is, in my opinion, preposterous.
Lads if you could stick each other on ignore it may be a good idea.
