2nd most longballs behind Burnley and people wonder why Rom wants out
Ye lad sure he's fuming by our style of play sitting at the top of the scoring charts for a side finishing 7th.

I should've put this in the Lukaku thread but Rom is much better when the ball is played into his feetYe lad sure he's fuming by our style of play sitting at the top of the scoring charts for a side finishing 7th.
Rom once admitted in an interview that he was scared to head the ball in the pastI should've put this in the Lukaku thread but Rom is much better when the ball is played into his feet

But Moyes never got us ever looking like hitting fifth bar that one season in twelve, he then took United backwards, bombed out in Spain and is about to deliver Sunderland to the Championship....how did he build that foundation? Martinez deserves as much credit for the teams achievements that season as he does criticism for the other two seasons. Nothing to do with Ginger.
It's been good for the team as a whole, still think it frustrates Rom a bit. Not saying we should let lukaku dictate the style, just a 4am observation lolSo Rom is the leagues leading scorer and has scored more than his previous seasons and we have also conceded less goals all because of the 'long ball'. Clearing our lines rather than trying to pass out and Roms amount of goals points to long ball being used affectively.

Never got us looking like finishing 5th apart from the 2 seasons when we did, and the season we finished 4th. I don't mind that...But Williams and Jags end up looking like Joe Yobo on whizz and panic everyone on the field.
Need a cultured centre half for next season to balance the hoof.
What's that got to do with Everton after Moyes left this club? I don't care what he has done at Man Utd and Sunderland. I was talking about his time at Everton and he was the right man to take Everton out of the mess at the right time after Walter Smith's era.
You see it with your eyes after Moyes took over. If you see there was no difference between the 90s and 2002-2013 regarding league results then ok, because I guess finishing 5th and 15th is the same for you.
I honestly do not understand how on earth you can defend the indefensible aka the fraud. The negativity of his 2nd and 3rd season had done a lot more damage than his good debate season to this club. He took Everton backwards with a fair budget. And I have said this multiple times. In May 2013 Everton finished 6th with 63 points. It was not like RM took over a Walter Smith team with no money to spend and in the next season he had done a miracle and got 5th with literally the same squad.
