Ronald Koeman discussion

Should have made all three subs at half time and changed formation
Koeman was strictly going for damage control. He had no intention of coming back and getting a result and it showed. In games like today where we won't enjoy much possession, I for the life of me can't understand why we don't bring more pace for the counter. Rooney, Siggy, Holgate and Baines are too static. We are utterly predictable

They are HIS players. People have been saying 'he's inherited the mess of Martinez, he needs time to get HIS team'. THIS is HIS team. There were only 2 players that played in the same fixture from last year.

Do you really want me to school you in the art of football management and coaching?

Getting clueless. It's ironic to see the problem we face now is created by the set of players he brought in.

We've spend 150m yet we look more limited than last season.

He brought in a club record set peice specialist but non of the players is capable of running with the ball to draw fouls.

Winger receive the ball, zero ability to dribble, passes back.

Attacking midfield receive the ball, gets crowded out, passes back.

Defensive midfield gets the ball, looks up and lacks option bucause our winger can't dribble and our attacking midfield can't hold onto the ball. End up Cycling possession with full backs.

Full back/centerback receive the ball, again zero passing options on the wings, too afraid to pass short, lumps it forward.

Vicious vicious cycle of turgid Football and the only way to change it is to bring in 2 dribbler down the wings.

Tbf to Koeman we were set up to fail today regardless of who started with Schneiderlin not being available. We have also played too many damned games this week. BUT WOW he got things wrong today. Thank god it was Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and not Brighton at home
