Ronald Koeman discussion

He's clearly been left with players he doesn't want in the squad and has holes he clearly wanted addressed before the window shut.

Those requirements were clear to everyone around the club and they let him down and now he has to get on with it with the likes of McCarthy, Mirallas, Lennon, and Niasse hanging around the club like a bad smell. You can already see from Mirallas' posts on twitter today that he isn't happy with the outcome.

Bet he's steaming worse than us.

What's Mirallas saying?

You'd all be better off just excepting that Koeman isn't going anywere until the end if his contract following the 18-19 season and dealing with it. He isn't going to walk out of a contract like that and he won't get the sack because results will never be bad enough to justify it (Koeman knows how to drag out results when things aren't going well) so apart from winning a cup (which is almost as unlikely as a relegation battle) and making sombody interested enough to buy his contract out he isn't going anywere.

Let's just hope he can sort it out and get us playing well.

Results vs Tottenham and United would certainly help though I can't see where they'd be coming from.

It's possible that we just couldn't get the players we wanted and so decided not to get anyone, rather than buy players who weren't up to the job.

True this, sometimes I think peple want us to go and panic buy someone for the sake of it, if we cant get the right man why bother going for pretty much anyone? We almost did that with that clown that went to Spurs last summer, we dodged a bullet on that but this summer, im glad we didnt do that again.
We had a very good window on the deals we did, we got good players who we wanted, but the problem is we didnt shift enough deadwood and couldn't identify anyone that would really make a differance

All rather comfortable isn't it which never leads to success we will just coast along for the next two seasons
