Ronald Koeman discussion

As long as you're winning the dressing room harmony will be fine... So I wouldn't be surprised if squad harmony was at complete rock bottom. Koeman will likely front it all up in a way Martinez didn't though - be interesting to see the reaction that brings.
Morale is bound to be low in the squad with the performances and results so far. But I'd be surprised if Koeman has 'lost' any of his new signings, as virtually every player who joined the club this summer, cited Koeman as one of the main reasons that they joined.

Koeman can't win with some. If he criticises any of the players for their part in tonight's shambles he gets panned for throwing them under the bus and protecting himself but when he accepts responsibility he gets accused of still indirectly blaming the players!

Koeman derserves massive criticism for his part in our piss poor start to the season and tonight's abomination but let's not pretend that the players aren't part of the problem. We live bought poorly and have core of gutless cowards who are born losers playing for us. We can keep sacking managers all we want but until we address the fact that the club has been garbage for over twenty-five years now and the powers that be continue to let it be so nothing will ever change. :(

We the fans, the pundits etc, don't have a clue at what Koeman is doing in terms of team selection and tactics. If we don't know what he is doing then sure to God the players must be thinking the same thing. It looks like that by their demeanor. Koeman as ridden his luck in the Premier League until now, but I think it is safe to say he is being found out.

I do think Koeman will probably keep control of the dressing room because he's a figure who seems to demand respect. It's not Martinez were the players just completely ignored him because of the crap he was spouting.

Wenger (I think) said the hardest part was keeping 25 plus players happy with only 18 on the pitch/bench and 14 playing. Trouble is I think RK has his favourites and, by completing alienating: Niasse, Barkley, Mirallas (and Geri etc).. you end up losing the dressing room.
Id love to see them 4 you have mentioned playing, I still think we could have kept Geri I have the feeling we more or less sent him back to Barcelona.

He did a poor job replacing Lukaku and Barkley, and he did a poor job choosing a stop-gap for Coleman. He prioritized a position we already had significant depth in and buried a very promising youngster in the process. RIP Tom Davies.

No point spending £150mill if its not spent with a plan. Arsenal have gone year after year buying players but not addressing the glaring issues they have.

We have spent £85mill on 3 players who all want to play in the same position/occupy the same space. He should have decided what style/system he wants and choose players based on that. Instead he's bought a load of players he likes and trying to accommodate them all.

3 full seasons to get found out which is ridiciously long.

See if we would improve after Sunday.

Was wondering that myself.

Lots of weirdness at the moment. Maybe all the bits fit together.
So do you think if let's say Koeman was sacked and Unsworth was given the job, Barkley would want to stay?. I thought the players we have bought we wouldn't need Barkley but it seems like we need him more than ever.
