Ronald Koeman discussion

P, it's dire. We'll get bummed on Sunday and no doubt beaten by Sunderland after he half arses the team selection.

And if he does C, I won't be sorry to see him shown the door.

Points wise, I'm actually not surprised at where we are given the games we've had.

The last three performances have been awful though.

As I've been going on about since he took over the problem is the recruitment of players.

He has had £220m and only had to sell 2 first team players - Stones and Lukaku.

Yet when you look at our squad there isn't actually a logical first team you can field that doesn't have glaring problems with it.

Whether that is his fault or Walsh's I don't know.

But I'd be saying the same if we had Benteke or Giroud up front. The problem is we don't have any shape to our side and nobody who can break attacking lines with skill or pace. We won't create without a playmaker (think Arteta), a dribbler (Barkley) or some pace and power (Lukaku).

I have been banging the drum about our lack of pace but people just laughed and called me negative.

3 defeats ffs, two of those against last season's top two

and no, it hasn't 'been going on for a while'. New season, new squad.

get a grip lads and ladies

he needs to change things, because whatever he thinks is going to work at the moment clearly isn't.

If he doesn't change things, and the results don't pick up, he will be gone.

But I'd be extremely disappointed if he goes after 3/4 defeats.
I don't think there's any serious chance of him being sacked just yet, and nor should there be.

Let's not dress this up though, we look awful, and most people agree it's been the case for an awful lot longer than 3 games. I've already mentioned that the only away win we've had since January is against a bunch of nobodies earning about £5 a week, and you only have to go back 9 months to when we went about 10 games without a win. This isn't the first bump in the road, and the concern is whether it's the bad form that's the blip, or the good form between January and April.

We can definitely still turn this round and have a good season, but it will mean serious changes, because we have been absolutely terrible for months.

I said last night before the game, the results, well defeats - excluding last night, have been expected but the performances in which have led to them is not acceptable. I'm not one to usual moan about performances, I just want results, but it's plain to see there's definitely something wrong here.

If we lose our next 3 - United (A), Sunderland (H) and Bournemouth (H), which I'm actually expecting at this point, he's got to go.

Fergie took 5years to build his United team, Kendall took 3years to build our 80's team and hear we are today expecting Ronald to build a team in a matter of months. Some of the football in the 80's was as bad if not worse than it is at the moment

As bad as we've been, there's no way we'll lose to both Sunderland and Bournemouth at home. He's very lucky he's got a run of very winnable fixtures after Sunday to steady the ship.

4 lg games lads.

5 EL games.

3 defeats.

4 wins.

3 draws.

It's not been a dire start to the season. It's been a dire last three games and we're all feeling very down about it.

Koeman must now realise his mistakes.

If he doesn't, I'm fully behind him getting the boot for refusing to shake things up.

I'm fairly confident he will though.

Them 4 wins coming against a pair of League 1/Championship quality teams and a very unconvincing one v Stoke, the draw at City was without a doubt our best performance all season but our players crapped the bed for some reason instead of taking advantage. All fell apart after that. We lose to Chelsea and Spurs? Fair enough, but the manner in which we lost was absolutely appalling, and the Atalanta game was just unacceptable on every level, considering they're about the level of Leicester and Southampton.

It really has been that poor, especially after spending ~£150m
