Ronald Koeman discussion

Jesus mate, you have supported Everton for year, we have been through far worst spells that this and come out of it better.

Think you are overreacting a tad personally, but each to their own.
not as depressed as this comment on twitter-

Questions need to be asked:
  • Why did we loan out Galloway? Even after this, why did we loan out Connolly? Absolute madness.... If Baines gets injured.... *shudders
  • Why did we sell Lukaku so soon, costing us money in an ever-inflating market and without a replacement?
  • Does anyone think Giroud or Benteke or a "target man" would improve us - they would make us even slower (if that is possible)
  • DCL is not good enough to be our main striker, no where near good enough.
  • Why was a League 2 player in Cuco Martina signed? Why not Zabaleta or Sagna for a year allowing Kenny to go out on loan?
  • Who made the decision to sign Klassan (Walsh or Koeman) when Rooney was apparently done and Sigurdsson was a top target?
  • Why are we so much worse than last year?

3 defeats ffs, two of those against last season's top two

and no, it hasn't 'been going on for a while'. New season, new squad.

get a grip lads and ladies

he needs to change things, because whatever he thinks is going to work at the moment clearly isn't.

If he doesn't change things, and the results don't pick up, he will be gone.

But I'd be extremely disappointed if he goes after 3/4 defeats.

Pretty sure Martinez got more grace than this.

Is this a sense of entitlement now coming from Evertonians? Because we were portrayed as being big spenders.

Or purely down to the poor start?

Down to the spin, the lies, the money wasted, the lack of cohesion, the lack of passion, the lack of a game plan, etc etc.

It's reminiscent of Mike Walker.

Purely football fans being very fickle.

The last three games have been crap. From every one.

Same goes for the end of the transfer window.

There still seems to be no clear leadership at the top and there is also no real link between the club and fans (why, why they don't hire a public liaison office (Myers) for this, I will never know).

The team isn't clicking at the moment and Koeman hasn't helped that process with some abysmal tactical decisions in the last three games.

I honestly dread to think about how the board would go about replacing Koeman.

We all know it would be tediously dragged out, if there are to be financial ramifications then days would turn into weeks of negotiating.

Mr Moshiri doesn't instill me with confidence when it comes to decision making.

Nothing he has done yet, including the sacking of Martinez which dragged on for 4 weeks longer than it should, has made me stand up and think that he is a ruthless and decisive man, which is exactly what this club needs at this crucial time in our history.

If he fails to act decisively on the manager front, when it is needed, then I would also worry about the delivery of a world class stadium build, which in my mind is already dragging on and on.

The money hasn't been wasted and what lies have been told?

The major flaw was not getting a good end to a good window - that wasn't on the manager.

The major flaw the manager has made has been some crap decisions in the last few games - well, three games.

I'd stress that you need to have more patience.

Don't we have one that netted 16 goals in La Liga last season?

We have a striker, just not one that fits in with Koeman's dinosaur hoofball system.

Lad, you've seen Sandro play like?

He's not a lone striker.

Koeman isn't a dinosaur he wants the team to play good togger, but he's trying to fit too many similar players in at the moment.

The team lacks balance.

We've had our pants pulled down again.

It's the Everton way.

4 lg games lads.

5 EL games.

3 defeats.

4 wins.

3 draws.

It's not been a dire start to the season. It's been a dire last three games and we're all feeling very down about it.

Koeman must now realise his mistakes.

If he doesn't, I'm fully behind him getting the boot for refusing to shake things up.

I'm fairly confident he will though.
