Ronald Koeman discussion

I think the striker issue, is on Walsh or the board aswell.

I recall Koeman going on vecation, at the end og the transfer window.
Hence, it must have been up to Walsh and the board, to land a deal.

The players we have signed aren't crap.

I saw enough of them at their former clubs to know that.

Our manager isn't crap either.

In the last three games, his tactics have been abysmal.
The players we have signed were all the for the same position, and the manager is shoehorning them around to justify paying for them

Mate you can't go round calling people bedwetters all summer and saying 'wah wah wah' as if anyone concerned about our complete mess of a situation is a spoilt kid and then take your bat home when you get called a sanctimonious bore.

I'm fed up of people just saying 'you need to be patient' as if we haven't been. We've been saying we're not that far away for about 15 years now, we've seen quality players and highly rated kids come and go, always with people saying 'just wait, it'll all come good', only it never does. Some of us could see this coming a mile off but posters like yourself kept saying it would all be fine and people were just moaning. Well it isn't fine is it? We haven't scored for over 300 minutes of football, and have conceded 8 in the same time. But nevermind eh, there'll be jam tomorrow.

I thought the "bedwetters" thing was just a standard joke on here......oh well

Like I said, you are far more passionate about it than I am and I am not saying you are not patient, but my own personal beliefs are that we have seen a big influx of personnel this summer, which might take a little bit of time to get things right.

However, as Koeman has come out directly and admitted he has ballsed up, I take on board what everybody was saying and what their concerns are and he is 100% accountable.

I gave Martinez until October in his 3rd season, I am prepared to give Koeman a little bit more time than 1 month into his second.

I don't particularly think that was purely down to tactics though was it?

Middlesbrough away, for example, we created 3 really good goalscoring chances that should have been put away.

It's an issue, but I don't think many games last season that we lost were as much down to the tactics used as they have been in the last few games, if you get me?
Not purely down to tactics, no. It's obviously a huge part of it though isn't it? If you consistently fail to win away from home, even against clearly inferior sides, it seems fairly obvious that there is a flaw in your tactical plan.

You're right that we had chances against Boro, but it's worth pointing out that so did they. It wasn't one of those games where it was inexplicable that we didn't win, in fact we very nearly lost.

..not sure some folk on here are aware of the assessment provided by Koeman a week or so ago.

RK said they thought they had landed striker target no1 (assume that was Giroud) and then target no2 (not sure who that is), but both failed to transpire. That failure might be no fault of anybody at the club. I assume Giroud gave Koeman enough encouragement when they spoke for him to put any other pursuit on hold. In hindsight that is a lesson to be learnt.

Koeman said they then worked down the list and players were either not available or the asking price was too much.

That's the situation according to the Manager.

Utter tripe we had no money to sign anyone on deadline day look at the facts trying to offload KM and Ross no way was Giroud coming here, and the way we play with no wingers what would he do ?
No supply no goals not the greatest hard worker either great if he gets a chance in our present team no chance!
have they sacked Koeman yet?

What has possibly been the good stuff mate? Apart from the first half at home to Split the whole season has been atrocious so far.

First half against City we were ok considering they've destroyed everyone else.

It's not been great obviously but firing the manager is not the solution nor do I think it's remotely on the cards.

...sounds like your enjoying yourself, Joey.

When we sack him, I hope to god our glorious leaders have done some actual research and have a proper plan. One that doesn't involve Moshiri reading the managers WIKI page and watching youtube videos of their amazing playing career, as he seems to have done with RK.

interesting. Thank you, for the info.

Depressed can not see a light at the end of the tunnel for the club I love!
other than to sack him Moshiri injected money, but paid compensation for him RK ??????????.......

Jesus mate, you have supported Everton for year, we have been through far worst spells that this and come out of it better.

Think you are overreacting a tad personally, but each to their own.
