Ronald Koeman discussion

At home maybe but our away support is top notch.
Fan letter about a fan going to Atlanta asked why we don't sing like other teams and why we only hurl abuse at our team. Dunno if you've seen it like, but it was a bit of a grim read!

(Also this is one game and not representative as our fans are generally boss, just wanted to point it out)

Koeman has to be allowed a lot of latitude for the fact that he wasn't solely responsible for bringing in players, and he's had to rebuild the whole side whilst playing two very demanding games a week.i think at the moment everyone is banging on about how we need a big no9 -for the whole team to function properly, the weird thing is we've got one but the manager hasn't been playing him. Dcl clearly can play the role to a good (not great ) standard, just ask Vincent Kompany. But the manager then didn't play him for the next two disastrous games in his correct position. Why not? I suspect to get the Sandro deal over the line he wanted certain commitments that he would actually play and not be stuck on the bench. So far off the pace has he been though Ron has to bite the bullet and drop him.
I also think it's only a question of time before Rooney and Gylfi start to understand each other's game and they will make a difference.
The biggest concern for me is the form of our central midfielders, not even doing the basics properly. I do wonder whether it's because they are a little too proud of their stats ('nobody made more tackles than X last year' well sometimes you need to know when not to dive in), and Morgan maybe is once treating on how he keeps his intercepts stat, and forgets the game sometimes needs to be taken by The scruff of the neck

If if turns out that Philip Green was/is involved with the board I think ToffeeTim may well have a point.
I seem to remember Elstone being decidedly slippery at the AGM when asked some difficult questions and also rumours of Bill blocking transfers at the end of the window after the manager publicly stating he needed a striker and LB. Maybe the Board are a little bit to blame methinks.

..but that has not, and will not turn out to be the case will it? Green was a friend of Bills and as such probably invested in Bills shows and gave him 'advice'....its most unlikely that anything illegal took place....the whole of football finance has the appearance of being shady to a degree, in fact the whole of the financial world at the top end is not questioned enough(Barclays directors, etc?) and its probably just as well. But the use of the word 'fraudulent' in Toffeee Tims context is quite simply a false accusation, without evidence. But 'that's football'.
