Ronald Koeman discussion

I'm normally really patient with managers compared to most but I'm not sure I'd keep Koeman in his position.

Everyone seems to see the main issues with the team, including the media and other teams fans yet Koeman doesn't.

We have no width or pace yet he refuses to play wingers. He plays a player who can't defend at right back, despite having Kenny available.

Sandro keeps on avoiding getting in the box yet Koeman does nothing about it. Rooney plays too deep, etc.

He uses formations that use wingbacks despite Baines not having the engine he used to and Martina being useless at defending.

Carries on playing 2 DM's, even at home, when we need more drive in midfield and through playing both holding players we're inviting other teams on to us.

I know it can take a while for new players to gel but they're not playing with passion or fight and even if they were our tactics and lineups have been so bad I don't think it'd make much difference.

There's something seriously wrong with the way the team are playing. It reminds me of the month or so before RM left. Some of the players don't seem like they're trying.
It does beg a very serious question about players at Everton not playing for r 2 successive managers. Who'd want to manage us now?

If Sammy Lee is given a coaching position then Koeman is surely self-sabotaging at this point. I wasn't to bothered when the idea was originally mooted last year but to do it now would be a truly special type of tone deaf. Lee I'm sure would give it his all but the last thing you do to get restless supporters onside is give a die-hard rival supporter a big role at the club. Hopefully someone high up puts the kibosh on this.
