Ronald Koeman discussion

Too busy spending the lukaku and tv money and wondering who we can sell in the summer to make more
Spurs spent the Bale money
Liverpool spent the Suarez money
United spent the Ronaldo money

You really are a petulant child. Moshiri has done more for Everton than you ever will, even if you had your life fifty times over, never forget that. He's sorting us stadiums, our biggest ever transfer kitty, our biggest ever net spend, our biggest ever sponsorships and you're bitching on the internet and that's how you support the club.

The state of you.

the only thing moshiri can be blamed for is bringing in the wrong staff, that happens in every club

Tomorrow will be the biggest indicator of his future thus far.
Despite the ,understandable, opprobrium that has flowed his way since Thursday's defeat, I for one saw green shoots of revival. We played far better than previously, and I think we were unlucky to come away with nothing. Small steps, but if we continue to improve I think he will retain the boards support and stay ahead (just) of the ravening mob currently pursuing him. I wouldn't be surprised to see hunt saboteurs at the match tomorrow.

Congrats on using the word opprobrium...first time on any forum, anywhere in the world. I wonder if that counts as another first for Everton, like undersoil heating, floodlights, TV actor chairman, etc?;)

Ronald - if you're reading can you stop talking about the players not having any confidence please. Saying that just compounds the pressure and will not help build confidence...

Having said the above, I think what the board will do (which I agree with) is ride out the next few tough fixtures even if the results are poor, hoping then for an upturn later in Nov / Dec. And only sack him if we're looking like real relegation candidates later in Dec

Most fans are clueless couch potatoes crying for him to be axed. The reality as we know is that the results would most likely be better if he'd got the striker he wanted. If that's anyone's fault it Walsh's, but why would we sack him either?

You can't expect an instant revolution - and fans should support the team also (to an extent) through tough times - Koeman deserves more time, and respect in my view

Massively agree with the post above.

I think a lot of us would've agreed that when he took over, at least 300-400 million would be needed to get ourselves to the kind of quality to be able to compete week in, week out on all competitive fronts.

Man City spent a fortune in one window, and I think it's important that we make a stable but consistent progression and think we risk losing that if we get rid of Koeman.

I don't think any of our business has been poor business, but I also feel that it's incomplete business - this for my 2 pence worth is down to us not being able to fully convince the targets we want to come here and I think chopping and changing the manager pushes us further back on this front.
