Ronald Koeman discussion

Nevermind Wednesday as I've written that off but I still feel with a new man in charge we could get a result in Lyon and give us a fighting chance of still getting through the group.

We just look so unorganized and unprofessional under Koeman and that has to be down to him. It really does look like we don't work on anything during the week.

Today's tactics were simply sit as deep as you can and hope for the best. There was nothing more to it than that, like what you do with a school team where you shout "who wants to play centre mid" and someone pipes up "I'll give it a go".

To get him out we need to turn the heat up on Moshiri

Let's see how long he backs koeman then

When have Everton fans ever done this? We meekly accept stuff that has other clubs in open revolt. The RS has a plane for Rodgers to go the season after he’d almost won them the title. We were piping down people calling for Martinez to go even after three seasons. The board take advantage of the general goof nature of Everton fans. They would have been hounded out at most clubs.

Hate Everton rather than just Koeman at the moment. They’ve proper sold him down the river not getting a striker. Obviously he should still be doing better tactically etc but they’ve left him short in key areas. Walsh takes as much of the blame as Koeman for me. No wide players signed, no full backs signed, no main striker signed. Then you’ve got Kenwright still somehow heavily involved.

Club is rotten and needs a major overhaul.
No totally Koemans fault, striker should have been the first buy, from what I gather Niang was quite close at least it has a bit of pedigree so could have done a decent job here, that didn't happen so then we went on a number 10 spending spree forgetting we needed a striker snd when we were running out of time we spent 40 odd million on another number 10. I honestly believe Koeman thought Sandro could replace Lukaku that's how clueless he is.

If you ask me, Stamford Bridge in the week should be totally irrelevant to his continued employment as manager.

Win or lose, the next morning I am still going to be looking at a league table which, with 25% of the season gone shows EFC in the drop zone.

We are in mortal danger here......never have I had such a feeling of dread about my club’s short term future.....not even in Mike Walker’s silly season.

Our big problem is Leicester next week.

Can anyone see us winning there under this guy?

No? Thought not.

Then Watford at home.....I watched them on TV yesterday and they were slicing Chelsea open for fun at times.

Missed two sitters which would have given them a 4-1 lead.

Their strikers will think it is Christmas with the turkeys they will find in our central defence.

My flaming head is going to explode if this character is still on the sidelines, which he will be of course, when Watford come to town

Accidentally posted this in the poll thread but anyways....

I have been trying to stay objective, patient but really, enough is enough.

Coming up on November and I've got no idea what he's trying to do, the side looks completely unbalanced game after game, players are in the wrong position, no width, no movement off the ball, no idea what the best 11 is, players in poor form keep getting games, viable options go unused until too late in the game. There's some decent quality in that squad, not top 6 at a stroll, but we shouldn't be in this position with the players we've got.

Sick to death of the fans taking the blame as well, week in week out we're there and it doesn't take much to get Goodison behind you, just a little effort and hope and we're on side. He's sucking the life out of the place. When DCL went down there was a break in play and he was nowhere, no leadership, no fight.

He's had his chance. Out. Soon as.

And I like that about Everton...it’s classy. Support and trust your team.

BUT when the board are gutless and don’t take any tough decisions, what else can fans do?

I rarely call for a Managers head, but I don’t see any other solution to our current predicament. Waiting this charade out til January in the hope of signing a saviour striker is desperate.

In 30 years of supporting Everton this is the worst I've ever felt about the club as a whole, at least in the past there was an excuse we didn't have the funds, then finally we have a chance of a spending spree and it's turned out like this. I fear we will never be the top team we are all craving to be.

I never thought I'd ever be saying this, but it's worse than the last days of Martinez.

At least we had Lukaku then, so you knew that there was always the possibility he'd pull it out of the bag for you.

Now, there's just nothing at all anywhere on the pitch.

We can see it, the press can see it, the pundits can see it, but it appears that Mosh and co are the only ones who can't.

We're still a small time club, with a small time mentality.
Be worth remembering that Lukaku completely clocked off after the Chelsea cup quarter in el fraudo's last season.

But I agree, it's bad now.

he's got kev, lennon, lookman and vlasic who are all wingers yet he consistently puts a center mid out wide

same goes for the 2/3 number 10's on the pitch at the same time or playing two dm's against dross then laughably playing one against the best passing side in the league

We've had planes. And the best revolt Utd could come up with was wearing yellow and green scarves while still throwing money at the Glazers. There isn't one professional club, to my knowledge, where open revolt from the fans has achieved anything. The RS, Newcastle, Blackpool, Man U Charlton....the list goes on. Boards only take action when they want to take action.

Leicester acted on Shakespeare recently because, unlike us, they have ambition for their side and a minimum level of achievement for a manager to keep their job.

Us? No, we're "a family club"...

The fact Koeman is in charge right now is nothing short of a disgrace. The lack of ambition is startling - it doesn't actually matter if Moshiri et al believe Koeman is the man for the long term, because you simply have to have a red line where if you drop below it then you act for the dignity of the actual club.

We all know we won't go down after 38 games are gone, but that shouldn't be the point.

Post of the day

Striker or no striker it doesnt have a bearing on him playing so many players out of position, lack of width, constant tinkering with formations and players.

There's so much more wrong with this side than just not having replaced lukaku, even though that is a big problem
