Ronald Koeman discussion

That was a very poor performance. It was unacceptable really and a throwback to the last regime.I think Koeman is or at least should be starting to realise after the past two matches that there is a lot of deadwood in this squad that needs clearing out.We are very reliant on Lukaku and Gareth Barry imo.It really is sh!t or get off the pot time for both Ross Barkley and especially Kevin Mirralas.Martinez is gone Kev so what's you're excuse now?

The one positive from yesterday was, Koeman has come out of the presser and told us exactly how it was yesterday, because of that this is not his team, this is not what he wants Everton to play like, it is going to take at least a couple of transfer windows to get anything like what he wants.

He does not try and hide over anything

In the meantime give Him time he will sort this, I have no doubt.

Ace reading the last few pages, it's like we are not used to losing.
Pep apart everyone has had a blip a couple of poor results does not make a season I fully expect Palace to be put to the sword on Friday.

COYB let's get behind them all.

Was happy with this response from Koeman.

Everton manager Koeman reacts angrily to Barkley questions
'You don't ask me about Coleman' snaps Blues boss

Ronald Koeman responded angrily to questions about Ross Barkley's below-par display following Everton's first Premier League defeat of the season.

The Blues lost 1-0 at Bournemouth thanks to Junior Stanislas' 23rd minute strike, with Barkley one of several disappointing performers in the Everton side at the Vitality stadium.

Asked afterwards for his thoughts on the England international's contribution, Koeman said: "I don’t answer that question.

"Why? Because why do I need to explain or always talk about one or two players. You don’t ask me about Coleman… What I don’t like is that every game I need to explain the performance of Barkley.

"Every week I get that type of question."

Koeman was clearly unhappy with his team's sluggish first half showing, and admitted as much in no uncertain terms.

"It wasn’t good enough," he said. "First half, Bournemouth were the better team. They had more aggression, won more second balls and put balls in the channels.

"They pressed well. It was difficult for us to find our play in the first half.

"I was not surprised by Bournemouth - I know they can be strong and we knew the way they play. It’s always about preparing yourself in football and they started much better than we did. That was disappointing after 45 minutes.

"In the second half we showed what we needed to do, good reaction of the team, some chances - not necessarily big opportunities, but we were the dominant and more dangerous team.

"It’s a pity because you need to start like this."

Everton were without influential defender Leighton Baines on the South Coast, after he suffered a hamstring injury last week and was not risked.

The Blues boss said it was a "close-call" whether Baines will be fit for Friday's clash with Crystal Palace at Goodison.

They also had to substitute Gareth Barry in the second half, with the midfielder playing from the start despite suffering an ankle injury in training on Thursday.

Koeman said: "He did not train yesterday and was doubtful for today. I was very happy with what Tom Cleverley showed on Tuesday. He’s really the player that I tried to bring into that time of the game.

"If you know Barry the fact he didn't train explains why we had to make the change."

But if we are not starting game well, then it is up to the manger to make sure we do.

Barkley is to Koeman what Kone was to Martinez ffs.

If we lose to Palace and then (as expected) lose to City we will have lost 4 in a row.

Thats how quickly things change.

Zero gameplan yesterday,Zero energy and Zero players 'in the moment'

This is not 'phenomenal'.
It's our first premier league defeat by your post we have now also just lost to palace and City. Do you have the lottery numbers as well? Let's see what happens before we start guessing what may happen.

Its obvious on yesterdays showing gareth barry was not fit and a wrong team selection in Oviedo { why did Holgate get dropped we could have played with a three man back yesterday crammed the midfield RK got it wrong for once in his era at the blues give him time it will take time!
