Ronald Koeman discussion

The thing is. we as a club hired safe managers for so long and we got nowhere with them. The minute we go out and get a manager who isn't safe, who may fail or succeed and isn't part of out history people seem to be turning on them so quickly for not 'getting' the club? That isn't necessarily in relations to his comments but overall the negativity because koeman isn't 'one of us' and 'doesn't get the club'.

Yet the same fans want success? If and that is a big if we really are going to move forward and be successful now then this idea of getting the club has to stop. Because what this club is to get, is about 30 years out of date. It doesn't work anymore, as proven by all the money clubs over the past 15 years.

Do people think emery would have got the club? Jose? Any other manager being suggested? Not in the slightest. Perhaps, if we want to be successful then we need to be getting behind managers who don't care about the club as much as unsworth or stubbs or any others mooted. Because they determine their career in their success, and last time I checked we are due a bit of that.

You see, here's the difference between the decent posters on this board and the likes of you.

The vast majority didn't really start jumping on Roberto's back until at least last christmas, when it was clear that we were going down the wrong path, even though the signs had been there for a while. We all wanted him to turn it around and for it to succeed, but after the losses at home to Swansea and others, it was clear it wasn't going to get any better and his departure was inevitable.

It's taken 11 games for people like you to start jumping and labelling Koeman, as you are so clueless and impatient and don't really get the gist of football in general. 11 games, of which we have won more than we have lost and are in the top 7, with one of the best defensive records prior to last weeks mauling.

Pathetic and embarrassing for you and the likes who are carrying on with this ridiculous agenda so early in his reign. Call yourselves Evertonians? Worlds best keyboard blaggers maybe, but football ain't your thing.

Ssshhhhh.

Interesting that Korman is now a brand ambassador of Jaguar. @davek has mentioned his hatred of Mirallas' gold bentley but i'm not too bothered about the cars these guys drive.

What is interesting is that we dont have a club sponsorship from a car company whereas numerous other clubs do....missing a trick here!

Bill was five minutes away from a lucrative deal with this lot a few years ago,it was an NTL type deal that would have shaped our immediate future.;)lol

Got to say, I can understand why people are annoyed at Koeman here. His comments were poor

That being said, I'm reasonably content with the job he's done thus far

This, only I would have to qualify it further and just say happy with the points on the board and that the defending (in the most part) has been a lot better. Performances have been on the whole meh.

But points make prizes and in this case he has won himself a break from me chasing him with a pitchfork.
