Think from what i gathered anyway, he was saying he could have fulfilled the last year of his contract, but after talks with the board about a new contract their was no agreement - from other things people have said about it, think that means he wanted assurances before commiting to a new contract and they wouldn't meet his demands - so basically from that point on new contract was never gonna happen mate

Funny thing is mate, it's very rare for a manager to not be turned on by any clubs supporters these days eventually, christ even ferguson was getting dogs abuse from united fans who thought he was blocking the mourinho appointment this summer

I've just popcorned a ST holder of theirs mate over Rons presser and us signing some of their players.
Went totally off on one about how it didn't work out when liverpool signed their players the other season..
