Oh well, if we lose we know it will all be Cleverlys fault
Maybe that's Koeman's plan B mate, bring Cleverley in to take all the fume away from him.

But there is a plan, Koeman has elucidated many times already how he envisages a game to be played high energy, pressing etc. You can also if you wish examine the tactics Soton used under his command. Problem is coaching the players who can operate it or ,as now seems likely, bringing in players who can. Time it's going to take time and we will have to be patient I'm afraid. It's not just the losing/drawing of games it is the manner we are losing/drawing
I don't think there has been a game were I thought we were unlucky not get get more than that, also not a game I have thought played some great football
My concern there is no real plan, unless it is hit it long....
The crowd need to up for this as well, and not wait until we do something in the game before making some noise. We better had win. 9 games and one win, that needs stopping in its tracks before it becomes a runaway train. We're at home and I expect a big performance against a team who it aren't exactly tough getting motivated to face.
I do think we'll win tomorrow. We've been hopeless for so long that a big game like this at home is what was required to get us back in winning ways. The crowd need to up for this as well, and not wait until we do something in the game before making some noise.

True enough but this was a train wreck of a team when he took over and I ,personally, will allow him more time to solve the conundrum than some are willing to give him. Here's the thing though mate, if the players we have can't play that way, then he should set - up in a way that they can play. Lukaku can't play on his own up front, so stick someone up there with him, at the end of the day Koeman is being paid £6m a year to figure all this out.
Problem is by your own admission you have disliked him for some time, therefore you are extremely hostile to anything he says or does . This stance ultimately casts doubt on your judgement on Koeman as Everton manager.'1 in 9 is the same as 5 in 13'
Que?
Surely i dont need to remind you of him saying our most valuable player would waste his career if he didnt move to a top side.

It's beginning to seem like we are always searching for managers with a plan B. Perhaps we should include it in the job requirements. Of course we could just give him a decent amount of time to get plan A functioning first.Oh yeah he's got to be given time, he needs to show now though that he as at least got some sort of plan B when things aren't working out.

I understand your position entirely. I suppose the time we're prepared to give him is subjective. For me I'm willing to wait until after the window, perhaps the start of Feb, before I begin to critically judge his performance. To get his plan A to work he needs those type of players, obviously we haven't got those players, so it's going to take him at least a couple of transfer windows (especially with January normally being difficult to get in top quality) to get the players to suit the pressing game he craves, but in the meantime he has to find a system that suits the players he has here now, or do we just give him a free pass until he has all his own players in?
