I'm not criticising him per se mate because he needs at least a good 12 months to get his players in etc before he can be properly judged, just think at the moment he's almost coming across as stubborn sticking to the same players/tactics that we can see aren't working.

Tactics at Soton were simply work hard and get the ball forward quickly, there is no real science about it.
Personally I want to see more than that but if it works and we win games and challenge in comps I will go with it, but if honest I can't see it
As for patience more than happy to be patient I have shouted for it on many occasions, but if you are honest you have to say watching us and the style of play it must give you even the smallest of concerns
Let's note this isn't a bad squad and they can close down, I think the problem is nobody appears to have a clue or the confidence to,do or try something different..

I totally disagree with your view on his tactics. As for style ,like you say,the style I like to see is a winning style, full stop. All else is icing. As for the squad , 3 years ago this was a good squad but important players are beginning to age or have already departed. Baines, Jagielka and Barry look to be at the end of their careers for instance. Too many players bought in were inferior to who we lost such as McCarthy, Cleverly, Robles and Niasse. This squad is in need of quality.
