Right now it must look like sacking Koeman is the solution for all our troubles.
With him gone, I think next summer Klaassen will be off loaded along with one or two others for heavy losses.
One thing is for sure, Koeman being the manager has taken the fall for the blunders of Steve Walsh as well and I would actually be made up if he is let go now.
Big questions now for our next 2 to 3 years. We looked to take the first step forward and after half a step forward we have taken 2 steps backwards.
Its gonna be Moyes now I think to take charge till the end of the season. Imagine the madness at this football club then. The impatient fan base of ours which think Moshiri must make us into Man City within 2 years need to get a grip.
The board needs to shelve some responsibilty as well as Koeman was their appointment and they knew his track record everywhere including a horrendous run of form. They are the ones who have to part with 10M compensation and satiate the impatient fan base when there is honestly no one in my mind (personally) to change our fortunes in an instant and neither will any big name want this job.
Cottee "Everton might want to look at someone like Sam Alardyce"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Why is anyone even think of Sam Allardyce or Molesey FFS! Get a grip
Somebody please invoke a High Court Order NOT to employ Messrs. Moyes, Allardyce, Redknapp, Pulis et al.
Thank you.
Because other than Moyes, we haven't had a decent Manager since the mid-90s. Why expect different?
And Cottee just lost all my respect...Cottee "Everton might want to look at someone like Sam Alardyce"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Arsenal fans looking longingly at Everton, wishing their board had the balls to sack their consistently under-performing Manager.
Don't think he'll get the job long term I agree. But somebody has to take the reins immediately and I can't see it being Dunc. I'd give him until Xmas initially as I said, during which time the club could be looking around for a longer term replacement. If he does well and the preferred replacement isn't available yet, then I can see it extended until end of year. We'll see.I agree still later than most of us would have done it but by Everton standards this was really quick. Unsworth will surely be in charge for Wednesday at least unless we have already tapped someone up. As much as most of the fans want Unsworth im not sure if Moshiri will give him the job.
Don't drop your phone ffs
