That's it we didn't replace lukaku and I'm not holding my breath they will get this right

Moyes would be a step backward. As would any other of the mediocre middle of the road candidates. Now is the chance to actually try and move the club forward.

The main thing now is not to panic by getting in some journeyman manager. We need a progressive young coach who can overachieve, improve players and build a team. Put Unsworth in charge till the end of season, evaluate how he does and evaluate the alternatives. Make the full appointment at the end of the season.
