Ronald Koeman Sacked

Not true. He was told immediately after the Arsenal game. The decision had already been taken before the game, short of a miraculous turnaround on the day in performance and result.
I've no idea what's true or not but did seem weird Moshiri was there yesterday and 24 hours later he's gone.
Either the writing was on the wall or he wanted to see with his own eyes how bad it was before making a decision.

Fair argument I guess. I think it's important to have someone like Dunc who loves the club in there, though. Earned his stripes with the U18s as well.

Just catching up with all of this in here. It was inevitable though. Best to cut it clean.
The thing is, who takes this on. Interesting decisions to be made, and critical ones at that.

Dave Prenno ... nail on head.

Life has replicated art at Goodison Park, with Koeman cast in the role of Cool Hand Luke.

The difference is that Paul Newman’s character boasted charisma and charm, while Koeman has been aloof, even arrogant - and he never once connected with the influential Everton support base.

For a man who always spoke openly, honestly and candidly at press conferences, he failed to communicate with the fans.

There was no sense of the style or pattern of play he was trying to implement.

There was no sense of the club’s rich and vibrant history; it was always “Everton” rather than “we”.
