Ronald Koeman Sacked

Agreed and with what has happened since he was appointed and what was known about him previously what were the board thinking when they appointed him?!

The board were particularly weak over the Barkley affair. No one had the balls to step in and call time on Koeman propelling a player who the club desperately needed to retain (for playing and financial purposes) out the door.

They allowed him free rein and he abused it.

Evening Toffee, the season wasnt ruined, he left while we were still in 4 comps.

The people who ruined our season are still in charge.

Not signing a Striker is negligence, im considering a class action lawsuit for emotional distress.

Ha Ha. Still in them. Yes, we're defo in pole position in all them like. Thanks "Ronk".

There's one person to blame over the striker business: the man who spent £140M this summer.

Said it at the time that what Koeman was saying about Barkley in press conferences astonished me. The board simply had to pull him up and say "you're doing us no favours; reply with 'not my business, no comment'" - his ego ran roughshod over the entire club during that fiasco and the board stood by and let it happen.

Koeman's terrible man management skills in terms of persuading people to stay and propelling them out the door, and his rubbish signings have cost this club upwards of £100M.

He was - and will continue to be in his absence - a complete and utter disaster for this organisation.

Confirms he put all his eggs in the Giroud basket despite having effectively since Lukaku rejected a new contract to find a new striker.

That said, how much of the blame lies with Walsh and the board over this is unclear.

He is busy painting the picture that the tough fixtures & no striker signed issues are the reasons he was sacked.

The press are also helping to create a narrative which isn't completely true. I'm yet to see anyone in the press question why a suspposedly great defensive coach thought h it acceptable to enter into a season with jags Williams & baines as 3 of the 5 main defenders in the squad.

It's criminal absolutely criminal.

He is really all over the place I have just seen his quote saying he wanted Giroud because Vlasic and Wayne are fast attackers which might be true with the former but not the latter but it makes no sense because Vlasic joined on deadline day which was weeks AFTER Giroud was apparently in the building close to signing.

His attempt to deflect responsibility for the utter mess he created is woeful and only ties himself in knots.

They were particularly weak when Koeman made his remarks about Lukaku “failing” if he stayed at Everton all his career as well.

He should have been publicly bitchslapped by Moshiri after that.

I mean, what manager of a major football club says that about one of his players?

This! Far worse than not securing a striker in my opinion. No attempt made to secure a new centre half to partner Keane, criminal. Baines I can understand to a degree but we needed cover at the least. Martina wasn't it.
