Ronald Koeman Sacked

Anyone with decent football knowledge will see through the facade he's whining about to his local press. He failed here, end of. Unbiased parties might say he should have been given more time, but when is too much time?

Thought we let him go at the perfect time. Sends a message that we will not accept that sort of result like he got vs Arsenal, and obviously the results leading to it.

It will obviously only his home audience that swallows it.

I have yet to read or hear a journalist in this country raise any doubts as to the righteousness of his dismissal.

"It's a lot of money, but in England you work in a world of different numbers. Players here all cost a lot more than they are actually worth. That's how the market works."

So... blatantly admitting Siggurdson wasn't worth the fee.
Well, once the Icelander gets a decent striker to hit we'll see what he is worth.

It's pretty rich for Koeman to buy him, deprive him of the means to display his special skill and now disparage him in the media.

The giroud excuse is still ridiculous.... Not only were we losing Lukaku, but we also offloaded Kone, and had planned to sell niasse too.... So really we should have been bringing in 2 or 3 strikers......

Koeman should have pushed the board hard for a striker ahead of the Rooney, Klaassen & Sandro deals (siggurdson deal was too expensive to not then have him as our number 10)...

There was strikers available in the summer even if it wasn't a top replacement for Lukaku.... Signing no strikers could get us relegated.... If this was Walsh's fault, he should be sacked too...

Sent Valencia back to Hammers as well.

No way was one striker going to solve our current problems.

I have the distinct impression Ron just wasn't that bothered either way. If it goes well great, if it doesn't pay off time and pop up in the Bundesliga in 6 months time.
Thank god he didn't splurge another 50m on Giroud and sell Barkley.
Whatever Moyes faults he left us with a superbly balanced young squad, with cash in the bank. Rons took a wrecking ball to the whole set up. We'll be skint for years, paying out hundreds of thousands every week to his various dreadful buys.
