Ronald Koeman Sacked

It begs the question what big brain sanctioned the Lukaku deal, without Giroud signed. They need to be paraded at Goddison Park next home game with one of those pointy hats with a d on and a sign around their “unclean” on it.
He's in Holland, can't see him coming back for that

Anyone for a Monchi/Emery tag team...oh the days of two summers ago seem a lifetime away. We appear further behind now than when the Mosh took over. Yes we have spent money transfers side but my god most have been terrible thus far.

Maybe we should get Moyes in as our transfer guru, to be fair the guy could spot a bargain

The sad truth is your wrong here mate.
Koeman was such a control freak i'm sure he signed off on it. At no point in his, it wasn't my fault Gov, interview did he make this point. You can be damn sure that given his arrogance if he hadn't signed off selling Lukaku before a replacement was brought in he would have let us all know.

I would say its a certain impossiblity that a board of directors asked the first team coach If he was ok if they compleated a 90 million pound business transaction. I mean let’s be serious here for a second.

Don't see why not, they seem to have spent the summer letting him spend whatever he wanted! Koeman is trying to find every excuse under the sun to say why he didn't succeed, I fail to see why he wouldn't use a fairly obvious one.
The answer to all of this is that he only wanted Giroud and he was prepared to wait for him to make a decision.

You can’t really think he was acting with full autonomy, that like next level denial or avoidance at best (I hope).

I love Giroud and he certainly would have made a difference but considering the other players purchased I think we still would have struggled going forward due to a lack of pace. He is also is 31 years old and would have cost the best part of £30m

You said disparage in the media?? interview, paper twitter - link.

"We sold Lukaku for £90m. Our most expensive purchase, the Icelander Gylfi Sigurdsson, cost half.

"It's a lot of money, but in England you work in a world of different numbers. Players here all cost a lot more than they are actually worth. That's how the market works."

I don't know, but that reads like a disparaging remark to me. If I was Gylfi, I'd take it that way.

I mean surely koeman wanted a stiker and told the board this. They've still sanctioned the sale of it with no replacement and look at we're we are.

They get away with it time after time
