Unfortunately, the new breed of Everton fan will not share our patience.

Not sure I entirely agree with that.
If we take the ideal scenario where both Stones and Lukaku stay with us and then add Baines, Jagielka, Mirallas, Lennon, McCarthy, Besic, Barry, Deulofeu , Barkley, Coleman, Funes Mori then you have the basis of a very decent squad. Players like Galloway and Browning should be involved more this season as well.

If we can add possibly another five players with our reported 100m and the very best of the academy prospects then you have a squad with a lot of potential.

We are a bit jaundiced about our players because of the way last season went, but even last season if we could have done the basics in defending we would have earned a lot more points than we did.

There is talent already there, it needs to be used properly

Very possible. Like others have said..if he succeeds and is off to Barca then that means we are in a better position to get another big name manager. If koeman puts us on the map again I will be very happy. Just hope he turns up and sorts the under performers out. I want him to be intolerant of whingers and ship the wasters out. Got to be tough from the start.
