Definitely agree, he always seems to be overlooked. People don’t appreciate how good he actually was, a flawless strikerMy favourite player ever, Without those knee injuries I think he goes down as the greatest striker ever. And possibly greatest player ever. Had absolutely everything
People get very excited about Mbappe and rightfully so. He is an unbelievable footballer and probably the closest to Ronaldo in style of play at the moment. I went to Rio carnival 8 years ago and stood about 3 feet away from him. I can't describe the feeling that hit me when I saw him. Only thing close to it was when I met Howard KendallSame here, my favourite too. There was nothing he didnt have and even with those awful injuries is still one of the greatest ever.
Due those injuries though, only a certain age group will remember exactlty how good he was
He put weight on towards the end cos of injuries and still kept slotting for fun. Were people calling him “Fat Ronaldo” at the time or was that only after his career? It might actually hurt his reputation.
PSV or something?Did you know Roy Hodgson was once his manager?
