I agree there is defo a part of Rooney that knows hes slightly weird and i am not just talking about his granny preference . He just strikes me a bloke that is not to be trusted . Why would you make a holy show about how much you love something only to leave at the first chance to join a team who"s supporters detest everything you are then spit in the face the supporters you grew up with and who love the club you used too ? LIVERPOOL and Atletico Madrid fans staged a love-in last week.

The object of their affection was Fernando Torres.
The supporters of both sides were united in their adoration of a young striker who does things right.
He spent six successful seasons with his hometown club, left the club which had nurtured him with apparent reluctance, thanked Atletico for the part they had played in his development – and when fate decreed he should go back there in the Champions League, he spoke of his excitement, but his unwillingness to celebrate should he be fortunate enough to score a goal.
Contrast that to Wayne Rooney’s departure from Everton.
He left after two seasons, with barely a backwards glance. He criticised the manager in an autobiography, kissed his new club’s badge in front of his old club’s fans - and when fate decreed he may score his 100th career goal at Goodison Park, said how special the moment would be.
When Rooney was first attracting headlines at Goodison, David Moyes used the example of a young Atletico Madrid striker as perhaps a figure he may mimic by sticking around for several seasons .
He chose to ignore that advice and while he’s won medals, he’s lost a whole lot of friends in the process.
Torres proved that it is possible to have both.
Rooney has made his bed at Goodison, on Saturday he had to lie in it."

I think your forgetting that Rooney put in a transfer request on the last day of the transfer window and acted like a massive shitbag to get the move.

I entered a competition like 2 years ago to meet Rooney. I would of punched him in the face back then if i did win it. I didn't though.
