Rooneys comment

Without a shadow of a doubt. People all over the country have been jibbing work, getting into debt, probably jeopardising relationships, all to support their country - and Rooney who is on what £100k minimum a week? Says something like that - for me that there just shows what a **** he really is, and I've been defending him recently. Well not anymore, supposedly the great hope? I support England because of Bobby Moore, Hurst, Matthews, Lineker, Bobby Robson, Platt, Gazza, players and managers who wore their heart on their sleeve for club and country - Wayne Rooney tonight proved to me that he plays for the front cover of Fifa 2010 and that is all.

Weapon.

ONCE A BLUE ALWAYS A BLUE.

MOYES FORCED ME OUT..

Etc etc etc

I still say he's the only one who put any effort into the game.. you could say his comments were directed to his teamates.. Meaning, it was a jab at his mates given their lack of effort.. " it's NICE to hear your own fans boo you, thats what LOYAL support is " He is clearly unhappy, and it's not with the fans..

it's clear enough who he's directing his comments to.

Just like the "once a blue always a blue" (red) and "Moyes forced me out" comments were directed. As was the Man U badge kissing.

This is no different.

Theres no excuse. You might think there is in the states. But not here there isn't.

I don't know how many more excuses we'll get for this sort of thing.

Sorry, but the game I was watching he was chasing his own shadow and when he finally get hold of the ball his touch was akin to a bag of cement. He clearly lost it when the fans showed their discontent.

I gotta give it to ya Matt, you're not letting it go..:D

The pressure or rather the craving of international greatness weighed down them expensive metatasals like blue circle cement.

He plays a match completely heartlessly with no attempt of trying his best - and the Princes were there so that makes it worse that he seemed to not care. After people spent a whole lot of money on getting there, and then he thinks he has any right at all to say that? He gets paid millions and then walks around a pitch for 90 minutes. Of course they were going to boo, he's just wasted their money and time.

If he had put his heart into the game it would have been different. But to me he seemed to treat it like just another Prem game.
He's beyond cheeky - keep your comments to yourself, lad.

Let's be honest tho, it was a nice comment and he made it well. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and admire a good comment.
