Have you seen the new Rolls Royce Cullinan? Hideously looking thing and a real stray away from what a quitensial Rolls should look like and starting at £250k.

While I agree about Bentley, at least you could argue that the Bentayga looks 'okay' - I'm growing to it - but the above simply looks deformed.
Since the 80s, id say, there have been very few good looking cars. Most are over bloated and grotesque in my eyes. I'd like to see a car tax based on the amount if space these monstrosities occupy and force them from me having to look at them.

It's a turd, regardless. Bentley shouldn't be in the business of making 4x4's. Or Porsche, for that matter. It's the sort of thing Phil Neville would drive.
It's a superpowered highway SUV, not a "4x4" anyway. It's not a Jeep, it's not anything with any offroad (even soft offroad) capabilities.

It's feeding on the fad - Jaguar have an SUV. You know, the company Jaguar Land Rover has an SUV, while Land Rover is famous only for that. What's that, your brand is flopping and not selling enough sedan's and hatches (and others obvs)? Make an SUV! Even the Ford Fiesta now has an "SUV inspired" model, to go with Ford having about 17 SUV's in their lineup for this and next year.

In saying that, I drive a Jeep Liberty and a Fiat Bravo, and can definitely say the Jeep is 50 times better than the Fiat, so I sort of understand the fad.

I think the Cayenne and Cayenne S are the fastest depreciating in price luxury cars/Porsche's altogether lol You can get a very good less than 10 year old Cayenne S for under 14k pounds.

It shouldn't be on size of car, but rather on engine size/BHP(kW)/power and age of car, in general.

It's that way in Bulgaria. My old abovementioned Fiat's tax is next to nothing per year - small engine, not a lot of horses, really old, whereas the Jeep is with a big 2.8L engine with 150 horses and is also newer, so the tax on that is about 8 times more.

To put it in perspective - the Bentayga starts at at 4L V8 with 540bhp (400kW). If it was here the tax for it would be in the thousands.

Anyway, Ross Snakely then...

88 Rodney Street has a number of GPs, counsellors, psychotherapists, hypnotherapists / life coaches, dieticians and a herbalist amongst other clinics.

Take your pick what he may be going for as there's fair scope for some wonderful rumours.
Didn't our ex chairman Dr Marsh have his office there ? Seem to remember a mate dropped a sample off there once. he was taking the p even then.

That's reasonable, but our MPs with their Jags would never be in favour of that, unless of course it goes down to expenses. Should deffo factor in volume of the body though. All the congestion they cause taking up loads of road space, parking space etc

But yeah, Ross can rot now. He's jibbed us off so he's nothing to me now.

The engine/power ratios do that well enough - you can't have that Bentley with a 1L Clio engine, there's no way to go around that tax.

The only way to go around it here is to have it as a HGV by making cabin mods, making it appear as if you're using it for HGV purposes, even if you're not. I have a hard time believing anyone will do that for a Bentley, however... I have seen several Cayenne's with that around here so lol

Quite a few good ones in London too. I thought it more odd he wasn't going here. Wonder if he's living in London.
