Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

If only you had played to your abilities Ross. You could have been out there and putting England into the finals. You were exactly what we needed.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the injury (hamstring?) afflicting Roscoe might be more affecting than what we've told. My promising rugby 'career' was derailed by an egregious hammy tear....it can be a very nasty injury.
 
Good news for Barkley.

How anyone can mock this lad I dont know. He's been injured (and unmotivated due to that nobhead who just left).

If he's fit and he has the right manager he'll secure a spot in the team. I hope he comes back here.

Sadly Dave, all the signs point the way of Jack Rodwell.

I do mate, but he seems happy to just " coast ".

Irrelevant of injuries, he just doesn`t seem to have that " die for the cause attitude " .

He needs to pull his finger out and realise his potential very very soon or he`ll be just another could`ve / should`ve been great player.

I don`t think it`s gonna happen for him at Chelsea and the wages he`s on, will make it hard for him to move elsewhere.
