Gone from being a forgotten man and woefully misused at Everton to join a team challenging at the top with a manager who trusts and believes in him and gets called back into the England set up

Up until his injury he played nearly every game, Martinez's first season onwards. Woefully misused is debatable like. Got called up to England on the regular and all.

Anyway

Mocking Evertonians as being thick because they are not happy about a former player fleecing the club they support out of £20m.

Classy.

Many on here are misinformed to the fact that it wasn't a gangsta's moll he goosed, but rather, a gangsta's RS supporting ma. It's a not unsubtle difference which might clear up a lot of the confusion...

If you’re getting butt hurt over it then that’s your problem kid
He's done nothing at Chelsea yet Kurt, he's totally lost what made him special, his driving runs forward dribbling with both feet, now he just tippy tappy passes looking for the easy pass all the time, and he's still too slow to play the right pass at the right time to create chances.

I wouldn't have him back here put it that way, can't lace Bernards or Siggy's boots.

Didn't watch but from what I gather he had a quiet first half and did what he does these days for Chelsea: kept it simple. Second half he became a bit more adventurous with a few surges and forward passes.

The lad is slowly recovering from getting his head wrecked by that ball bag Koeman.

BBC rated the team as usual, not overly glowing for Ross but he does seem to be making the news a bit more and enjoying his football

Ross Barkley (central midfield) - 5
Did not fully grasp his big opportunity. Thought he had won a penalty but failed to impose himself on the game.

He’s doing what his manager is asking of him. Yes he’s making mistakes but Sarri is sticking with him and letting his way back to full confide... amazing what a patient manager can do

That link should carry a "Phil McNulty" alert mate. McNulty "the Evertonian" simply hates anyone associated with the club.

Barkley has a thing for MILFs? The moar u kno.

As long as he doesn't hit on Sarri's wife or any Cockney gangsters' beloved muvvas, he should be OK.

he DID score in their last game and assist another goal tbf.

Had a good game overall, looked bang on it at start of second half especially prior to their goal. If Silva or someone had done that pass for the third goal FIFA virgins everywhere would be uploading gifs to twitter jizzing over it.

Still showed signs of old habits on the counter one time when he spent too long deciding what to do but overall looked solid. He's big time confidence player as we all know, hopefully can kick on from here, definitely has another gear or two he can reach imo... just needs some things to go his way and build on the confidence he's starting to show.
