Ross Barkley joins Chelsea, er, Villa on loan

So the guy who refused to sign a new contract that would have made him one of the highest earners in club history for the club he was brought up by, the one he decided to screw over to make himself more money.... that's the clubs fault?
Makes me laugh because if he hadn't played (consistently poorly) for us and we signed him, people would be saying if he's not good enough for Chelsea he's not good enough for us. He's had 2 good games for villa and suddenly he's a world beater.

You don't have to be a world beater to make our midfield.

Anyway it is still very early as you said (5 games to be exact), but he's been good, Villa have been good, and quite frankly if in another 5 games Villa are still playing this good they'll be as much a threat to make Europe as we are. Barkley is a big reason why at this moment.

First bit is true. For me he was frustratingly bad for us so much of the time. Fair play if he sorts himself out at villa though. Like you say it's a bit early to say but there's some promising signs for him and them.

He would come back in a heartbeat if we offered
I don’t think he would, but I think he’d be our best central midfielder if he did, and that includes Rodriguez because Barkley is capable of, y’know, running!

Anyway isn’t it great having clubs like Villa and Leeds back in the Premier League hey lads?

I can remember saying otherwise about 18 months ago, but when you think about it, there’s nothing quite better than having Aston Villa overtake you, and getting snotted 2-0 at Villa Park on a Friday night is what football is all about!

As posted many a time hes certinley not scared to be back in liverpool

seen him here loads since dosent seem to be worried

Nor should he be, mad some of the crap people spout on here

He left Everton because we were a sinking ship and he could earn and win more at Chelsea, not because his life is incredibly endangered in town because he got off with some chick in a club. I think some of you have watched too much of the Sopranos of you think a massively high profile footballer is going to get “whacked” in town.

Grands more a week, few million signing on fee, actually competing for stuff...it’s a no brainier really.

Not whacked as in dead but he did get actually whacked in town.
